How to search YouTube channels
Here, we are going to teach you how to look for a particular YouTube channel using both a Desktop computer and an Android phone.
Using a computer
As you might have guessed, the first is to open the YouTube website, which you can do so by clicking here.
Once your browser has opened the homepage, you will see a search box in the top-middle of the screen, which you could use to search anything from videos, channels, playlists, and movies.
Next, you need to type the name of the channel you want to search for in the text box and hit “Enter”.

With this, you should be presented with the videos and channels related to your entered keyword.
However, if you just want to look for channels, then you have to click on the “Filter” button and select “Channel” from the “Type” category.

This should eradicate the videos from the search results and only present you with YouTube channels.
Using an Android phone
Searching YouTube channels on your smartphone aren’t that complicated either, but we’re still going to show you how to do it.
First of all, you have to open the YouTube app and click on the “magnifying glass” icon on the top-right side of the screen.

This will present you with a text box where you can enter the keyword you want to look for:

After this, you will see all the videos, channels, and playlists related to that keyword. Now, you have to press the “Search Filter” icon on the top-right side of the app.
Once you do that, a dialog box should appear where you have to select “Channel” in the Type drop-down list and hit “Apply”.

With this, the app would only return channels in the search results.
Searching videos within a specific channel
Once you’ve gotten to the YouTube channel you were looking for, it’s possible to search for any of its videos and we’re going to tell you how.
If you’re using a desktop, laptop, or tablet, searching for videos within channels is pretty straightforward.
On the main page of the channel, you will find a “Magnifying Glass” icon right below the “Subscribe” button.
Click on it and a text box would appear asking you to enter the name of the video or any keyword you’d like to search for.
With this, YouTube will present you with all the videos that were related to the search term.
Having said that, we may have some bad news for the folks using YouTube on their phones. As of now, the YouTube app offers no feature which lets users search videos within channels.
On the bright side, there are a few apps available on Google Play Store which can enable you to do so.
